Axially Magnetized
Magnetized through the length or thickness. Strongest points are on the flat faces.

Diametrically Magnetized
Magnetized through the diameter. Strongest points are on the curved surface.

Radially Magnetized
Magnetized all north or all south. Possible in theory, but tooling costs for the magnetization machine are not practical.

Through The Thickness

Magnetized through the thickness. Strongest 

points on the ends of the thickness. Thickness is usually the smallest dimension of a rectangle.

Through the Width

Magnetized through the width. Strongest points on 

the ends of the width. Width is usually the 2nd largest dimension of a rectangle.

Through the Length

Magnetized through the length. 2 Strongest points on the ends of the Length. Length is usually the largest dimension of a rectangle.

the Outside Radious (R). Strongest points are on the curved surfaces. Not a stocked item but available upon request.

Axially Magnetized Arc

Magnetized through the thickness. Strongest

Pot / Cup Magnets

Axially Magnetized

A Cup or Pot is a regular magnet inside of a stainless steel shell. This shell absorbs the magnetic field on one side and forces it toward the opposite direction, creating a double pull at one end of the magnet. The Stainless steel shell doubles as a very tough layer of protection form harsh environments.
